SMED
SMED stands for Single Minute Exchange of Die. The aim is to achieve rapid, repeatable and efficient changeovers. This enables smaller batch sizes, saving the time and costs of over production and storage. SMED can also be used in an office environment, allowing more tasks to be completed. 

Our SMED workshop provides a system for looking at the changeover process to reduce the time, materials, people and mistakes involved.
